News from Benavente

I'm sorry but I forgot to keep you updated about the new kittens. The day after I left for Uni Ninotchka had 2 beautiful baby girls. However, this was a very stressful time because she gave birth to a dead baby =( and had to have another taken out by caesarian. She's fine now and enjoying the kittens that she has. She had to have 'the cone of shame' to stop her from licking her stitches and she looked pretty funny but I never managed to take a photo. It was also pretty cute because the kittens liked sleeping in the cone on mummy's face! One of the kittens likes being picked up and will even claw her way up your jeans for a hug! The other is a bit more independent and loves play fighting. Unfortunately we can't keep the babies and they have both found nice homes in the local area. It's just too much for my Grandma to look after all of them and she's enough of a crazy-cat-lady, for Ninotchka, as it is. Here are some pictures of the little monkeys:

Grans head definitely gives the best view
